Creating Logo in MS Word

If you want to create a logo for your company or for any other events and realized that you don't have any designing tool and its skills. You might be thinking that how we can draw such shapes in MS Word, but the answer is as simple as the MS Word!

It is assumed that if you use MS Word you must be aware with its Insert > Shapes menu. :)

Insert any shape and change it as you want. After inserting the text, double-click on shape. You will see following menu and its options:

Click Edit Points option. Now you can change the default shape's form as you want by using its pointers.

Why we say the childhood is always better?

I doubt that there is somebody who doesn’t agree with this. Because, we all know that when we were growing as a child there were no tensions, stresses and other issues with the life and we just use to live our life with a peace of time and enjoyed it a lot. Of course there are no such things which we encounter in our today’s adult life and always tried to blame it and greatly praise the childhood activities and life we spent.

I want to ask a simple but still conscious question that is there any person who is not facing any problems in his or her life after having all luxuries. I would like to tell you that we humans are grown with a habit to see what bad things are out there and do not see the good things at all. When we meet somebody who has been trained as a spiritual things and when he or she tells us the good side of the life then we believe it and see life how these people guide us.

The conclusion is about the childhood is that we did not face any type of serious responsibility and hence we liked that phase of life very much. If you try to recall the issues and problems you faced at your childhood then you will also agree that there is no such phase in life when we sit relaxed all the time and were happy.

Why rail beggars sing “Pardeshi pardeshi jaana nahi, Muze chodke…muze chodke” ?

The intention of any thing could be different as we think. Once, my friends and I were discussing about the beggars who sing well especially in trains and I shared my experience how one specific song is sung by many beggars and why?

But, when we see the real purpose behind it we can understand. In a journey there might be several people who are happy or sad and might be suffering some problems, some might be trying to run away from their home due to any reason.

The “Pardeshi pardeshi jaana nahi, Muze chodke…muze chodke” (a hindi Bollywood song) song is sung by some beggars and it might help to those people who are sad and unhappy with their life or family. This song will motivate the sad people and help them to go back and meet their loving persons.

Many times we ignore this thing, if we try to remove the blind layer from the eyes the real things come before.

Android: Fixing Contact Numbers display issues

Hello All,

Today, I am sharing a very good application for Android phone. If you are a techie person and plays with your phone. Suppose you have tried many custom ROMs on your android phone and suddenly noticed that some ROMs are not identifying your contact numbers while incoming calls and get frustrated by editing many numbers then this is right place for you.

There is an application on Google Play which is a free to download.

I have used this application and going to tell you that how it works. While reading procedural steps please look at screenshots too for better understanding. I hope that you would love this app and appreciate the developers awesome work.

Okey! first of all download this application on your android phone. (please prefer Google Play for this, because other site may have contain some viruses or would navigate you with their ads which is certainly irritated). Follow below steps carefully.

Note: Please backup your contacts on the SD card to avoid any future troubles if you go wrong or the application. I hope that you know that how to backup the phone contacts.

1) Open Number Fixer application

 (Application displays its first screen with some details as per displayed in below image)

 

2) Tap Add area/country code option. (below screen will appears)

3) Tap Digit number drop-down to set the number range to search all numbers.

 

Generally mobile numbers are in 10 digit, though touch the 10 digit option as per displayed in below image. By default 7 is selected change it to 10.

After that the application displays all contact numbers which contains only 10 digit numbered length not others.

4) Enter the required area code in Area code to prepend field. For India, you can enter +91 or 0 whatever you need.

5) Tap Fix All button.

Application will display a message box which show that how the numbers will be changed.

For example, 9876543210 number will be changed as +91 9876543210

So, all numbers which are contained 10 digits will be added the +91 prefix. 

Tips:

1. You can remove the numbers which you don't want to convert. In below image you can see that there is close icon before each number, just touch the Close icon and confirm to delete it and after doing these tasks touch Fix All.

2. For Landline phone numbers you can add '0' area code.

How to use gerund after "To"?

HOWEVER, there is always an exception to the rule in English! Normally, ‘to’ goes with a verb (as part of the infinitive form), not a noun. If, however, the ‘to’ is a preposition that is part of a combination, then it is OK to use a gerund after to.

Here are three situations in which you can use a gerund after the preposition to:

1) If the to is part of a phrasal verb or verb + preposition combination:

I look forward to meeting your parents tonight!
He confessed to killing his next-door neighbour.
She adjusted to living on her own.
He objects to spending so much money on a T.V.
Mother Theresa devoted her life to helping the poor.

(Remember, not every verb + preposition combination is a phrasal verb! A phrasal verb is when the preposition changes the meaning of the verb.)

2) If the to is part of an adjective + preposition combination:

I am addicted to watching soap operas on T.V.!
She is committed to improving the education system.
I am opposed to increasing taxes.
Many of the nurses and doctors in the hospital are truly dedicated to making life better for the patients.

Mother Theresa was devoted to helping the poor throughout her life.
He’s not used to driving on the left-hand side of the road!

3) If the to is part of a noun + preposition combination:

His addiction to gambling has caused a lot of stress for his family.
Her great dedication to teaching inspires her students.

Mother Theresa’s devotion to helping the poor brought her worldwide acclaim.

Her reaction to winning the Oscar was priceless!

NOTES:

*Remember, you can use to + gerund, but the to MUST be a preposition that is part of a combination. You CANNOT say:

X I want to going shopping.
X I like to listening to music.

*Also note that in the above combinations, you could NOT use to + verb. You CAN’T say:

X He objects to spend so much money on a T.V.
X I am opposed to increase taxes

*As you may know, gerunds can be use after prepositions. This does NOT mean that gerunds must always be used after prepositions. Verb / adjective / noun combinations could also be followed by any noun or noun phrase:

I’m looking forward to her party tonight!
He confessed to the murder of his next-door neighbour.
I haven’t adjusted to the time change yet.

 
Now, I’m sure your next question is: how do I know what verb / noun / adjective combinations include to? Unfortunately there is no easy answer. You can memorize lists, or you can do as much reading and listening as possible in English so that you get used to seeing and hearing these combinations! The purpose of the post was just to make you aware that there are certain, specific circumstances when you can use to + gerund.

To display all options under Developer Options

Hello All Xolo Q800 users,

As we know that our handset doesn’t display all options of Developers like other phones have. Finally we got its solution and it is very impressive and easy to use. Follow below steps to get it done.

1. Download PdaNet app from Playstore
2. Clear USB Debugging option from Developer Option.
3. Open PdaNet app and select Activate USB Teather
4. Touch ok
5. Touch Go to Settings. (Developer Options will display its all list of options)

 Note: For displaying these options on next time you would have to follow the same process again and again.

Do our Prays work?

Almost all people do pray. But the intention and repetition of Prays can be different to person to person. If a person does not believe to pray will believe when he/she doesn't get out from their critical situations or problems then he/she may turn to do prays. And, some people who are religious and are positive thinkers they always pray for themselves and others too!

Usually I use to pray rarely and had not 100% believe on it. But, as I discussed in above paragraph about Pray's requirements in a certain situation I applied it same for me. I was suffering some bad situations (I will not share it) and then I read a book "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind " and realize that let's try and see what happens. And, the trick is worked very well from that time I regularly do pray for me and others.

The United States of America why not "The India"

I know that this question is faced by all of us. And, we are not satisfied by any conclusion. Last time when I was watching the movie "English Vinglish" the actress Shri Devi asks a question to her English teacher Why "The United States of America" why not "The India", but the Teacher has not

answered to her question and we (I) thought that there are some uncertain rules which were created

by English people. So they use English as they want and the word "The" is used before United States of America for showing its importance in world.
